Hey, we’re so glad you’re here!!

We’re Tam + Chase Andersen, the faces behind Northerndusk Photography. We have been married since 2023 and have an ADORABLE fur baby Zeke. We have been capturing all forms of love since 2020 together but have individually been lovers of art and capturing life’s memorable movements.

We are a concept-based photography business.

We ask questions like “what are you envisioning?”, “How do you spend your time together?”, “what brings out your loved one’s natural smiles and deep belly laughs?”. Our goal is to capture photos that you can feel.

We are moving less from the “perfect” photo, and more towards connection and meaning between loved ones. We want our session to be catered to you and your loved one’s interests (hiking, camping, coffee shops, dancing in the rain, etc.). We think this will create a more authentic experience and will reflect in the photos you hang on your walls.

DON’T WORRY! If you don’t have a concept in mind or struggling to create one, I have 30+ vision boards to help you find a focus (pun intended.) We will work together, create a vision board, let loose and have fun on shoot day!
